Whole-house smart lighting, Devonport villa

The owners wanted app-controlled lighting throughout a 1910 villa without pulling up floorboards that had already been sanded twice. We went through the ceiling space where we could and used wireless modules behind the existing switch plates where we could not. Every fitting is still switchable by hand, which was the condition we set — a house where the lights only work if the wi-fi does is not an upgrade. Commissioned, labelled, and walked through room by room with both owners before we left.
